The aim of the Bachelor of International Business (IBB) program is to provide students with appropriate professional qualifications in international business and related economic, social, and political areas, and to prepare them for lifelong learning. Students in the program will acquire knowledge and develop competences in the areas of international business, economics, entrepreneurship, logistics and supply chain management, world economics, mathematics, and intercultural skills. Graduates of the program are equipped with superior language skills and will succeed in the changing multicultural environment of international business. The core values of the program are respect for the ethical dimension of international business and compliance with the principles of diversity, equality, and inclusion.
The program is suitable for talented students who wish to apply themselves in the multicultural environment of international business, are interested in its aspects in the broad context of international economic, social, legal, and political relations, and wish to further develop their extended knowledge of foreign languages.
Graduates of the program will find employment mainly in multinational companies, national companies operating in foreign markets and in international or governmental institutions, in specialist positions or in junior and middle management positions. At the same time, graduates are prepared to succeed with their own business plans and objectives, or to continue with their education at master’s level.

What kind of a degree will I get?
Graduates of IBB are entitled to use the title Bc. according to Czech legislation (Bachelor of International Business).

What am I going to do as an alumni?
You will find employment mainly in international companies; companies specialized in international business and in international institutions, both at lower and middle management levels. You will also be well prepared for further studies at the graduate level.
What is the program schedule?
Each semester consists of 13 weeks and an examination period of 6 weeks. Winter semester begins by mid-September and summer semester begins by mid-February.
The first semester of study is preceded by a matriculation period and an Orientation Week within which students receive all the necessary information about the system of study and effective support for starting their studies at the Prague University of Economics and Business as well as their lives in the Czech Republic.

What is the tuition fee?
The tuition fee per academic year is 5,000 EUR for students enrolling for the academic year 2023/2024.
Access to further studies
The Bachelor’s Diploma and the Diploma Supplement are recognized worldwide in terms of meeting the requirements for entrance into master’s degree programs.
The Prague University of Economics and Business offers IBB graduates the possibility to continue their studies at the master’s level in programs taught in English, for example in the International Business master’s program.
