What is IBB?
The International Business program (IBB) is a three-year, full-time bachelor’s degree program taught in English. Graduates of IBB have extended practical competences based on theoretical knowledge in the fields of international business and management; they are also multilingual with strong language skills.
They are prepared to work in mid-level management positions in multinational corporations, international and national export companies, in retailing businesses as well as in financial and governmental institutions.
The acquired competences enable them to react flexibly to changes in the global business environment. At the same time, IBB provides a very solid basis for further studies at the master’s level.
What kind of a degree will I get?
Graduates of IBB are entitled to use the title Bc. according to Czech legislation (Bachelor of International Business).
Is IBB the right program for me?
Definitively! It is suitable for linguistically talented students who want to work in a global environment and are interested in international business in an economic, social, legal, and political relations contexts. Does it sound well? We think so.
What am I going to do as an alumni?
You will find employment mainly in international companies; companies specialized in international business and in international institutions, both at lower and middle management levels. You will also be well prepared for further studies at the graduate level.
What is the program schedule?
Each semester consists of 13 weeks and an examination period of 6 weeks. Winter semester begins by mid-September and summer semester begins by mid-February.
The first semester of study is preceded by a matriculation period and an Orientation Week within which students receive all the necessary information about the system of study and effective support for starting their studies at the University of Economics, Prague as well as their lives in the Czech Republic.

What is the tuition fee?
The tuition fee per academic year is 3,600 EUR for current students and the students enrolling for the academic year 2018/2019.
The tuition fee per academic year is going to increase to 3,800 EUR for the students enrolling for the academic year 2019/2020.
Access to further studies
The Bachelor’s Diploma and the Diploma Supplement are recognized worldwide in terms of meeting the requirements for entrance into master’s degree programs.
The University of Economics, Prague offers IBB graduates the possibility to continue their studies at the master’s level in programs taught in English, for example in the International Business master’s program.
