Date of the FIR Annual Conference 2021 Announced /5.10./

5 Oct
2021

After a year without our traditional event, the FIR Annual Conference will be organized again. Regardless the situation we’ll do our best to continue our tradition of putting together a forum for discussing current issues and particularly the unprecedented pandemic which the globe is facing since last year. „We feel that this needs further attention and must be a centerpiece for debate at our conference,” stated dean Josef Taušer.

The title of the 2021 conference is therefore Supply Chains and New Normal After Pandemic.

We’re very happy to share that among confirmed speakers is Professor Beata Javorcik, Chief Economist of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and one of very prominent economists, professor of economics at the University of Oxford. Our invitation to speak at the event already accepted Chief Economist of OECD, Mr. Sébastien Miroudot, an expert with focus on the supply chains and global value chains.

We are closely monitoring the pandemic situation and we will soon share whether the event will be held in person or online.

For now, please mark October 5, 2021 in your calendars.

Stay tuned, more details to come!
