What do our Alumni think?
One day I realized that my life will not be the same when I lost most of the credits in the middle of the study.
Then I realized that there is no other better option than go and get what I was looking for so many years, at VSE and along with people who lately became my family. My choice was to fight for it and go through all complications.
My new plan took me one year and half and in the end, I got what I wanted. I got much more than a diploma or bachelor degree, I got hope that you can be whatever you want to be, that you can pass all complications in your life and be with people with whom you want to be.
If somebody would ask me if all that was worth it, I would say ‘yes it was’.
Everything in life is going how it should, nothing is happening in your life without reasons, just be thankful and ready to answer. Thank you all who believed in me and was always there for me!
IBB program will give you everything you want to get from it, just be ready to accept challenges and I believe you will have your own story.

I chose the IBB program at VŠE, because the University is well respected, the Faculty of International Relations is excellent, and I would be guaranteed a high quality education. Having lived abroad for 20 years, I was looking for a program taught in English, to continue with, and improve my communication and knowledge of foreign languages, especially English. The three year Bachelor program gave me an excellent comprehension of the world economy, international trade, and their interconnections. The studies met my expectations. In addition to the acquired knowledge, I also appreciate the price/quality ratio of studying at VŠE in Prague. Finally, I really enjoyed the personal interactions of the IBB program team, and being in a truly international environment.

I particularly like microeconomics, world economics and international trade courses. They really taught me the most and gave me the basis on which I am able to build now during my master. Also, the fact we could write a bachelor thesis showed to be a real advantage when applying for jobs. Most students from other universities write only a master thesis.
For all those reasons, I can recommend the IBB program from VSE.

The IBB programme at the Prague University of Economics and Business is an excellent opportunity for anyone who would like to experience a true vibrant student life at the big university with modern facilities in the centre of Prague and at the same time benefit from the small classes and professor’s personal approach making the study much more effective. Working on projects and case studies with other international students, learning from different cultures is a perfect practice for your future international career. Besides the international environment in the class, VSE offers an opportunity to spend an exchange semester abroad as well. You can either participate in the Erasmus programme on one of the partner universities in Europe or you can find any other world institution on your own and go abroad via Freemover programme as I did. A semester in Seoul, South Korea was one of the best things in my life!
Lastly, I would like to thank all professors for sharing their knowledge and experiences with us, Mrs. Petránková for being our “second mum” since day one ? and my supervisor Mrs. Štěrbová for constant support and valuable advices during writing of my thesis.

IBB program was a great experience. At some points, it was a bit challenging. However, I believe that the well-picked spectrum of subjects and large support of professors, which were truly engaged in their work, contributed to me to grow as a person. Moreover, IBB provided outstanding knowledge background, which is as of today helping me with my further master studies. After the graduation, there were so many different opportunities. Which in my opinion more than clearly shows that studying IBB program was a good choice.
