IBB Double Degree Options
A double degree allows students to study two bachelor’s degrees simultaneously and graduate with two diplomas. The Prague University of Economics and Business offers several double degree options. Students spend the first part of their studies at their home university and the second part at a partner host university. To earn both degrees, they must meet the graduation requirements of each institution.
The duration of study at VSE and the partner university depends on individual program agreements and typically ranges from two to three semesters.
From the academic year 2019/2020, IBB students can benefit from two signed double degree agreements, namely with:
University of Vaasa (Finland) OTH Regensburg (Germany)

And how does it work?
You pay tuition fee only at VŠE. Additionally, you receive scholarship for both semesters from the Erasmus+ program.
You spend two semesters at our partner institution in Finland or Germany and study selected courses.
When you finish, you get not just one, but two bachelor degrees.
Students of the 3rd year can spend one year at the partner institution. It is highly recommended that they complete all of the compulsory courses within the first two years and keep a sufficient number of credits for elective courses for the last year.
In the case of OTH Regensburg, there is an additional study obligation, namely one-year internship (bachelor study there lasts for 4 years). An internship will take place after VŠE graduation and must be outside of the Czech Republic. OTH Regensburg can be helpful in finding an internship in Germany.
Selection procedure
Interested students of the 2nd year of study should send to the IBB Academic Director the following documents:
- Motivation letter
- Structured CV
Previous study results will be taken into consideration.
The application deadline is April 1, 2026.
Recognition of credits
All courses that you pass at our partner university will be recognized into your IBB study plan. If you plan to have some courses recognized as compulsory course/s, you have to get approval through the InSIS Contact Centre (before your leave for a study period abroad). After you return from the partner university, you apply for credit recognition using the Contact Centre in InSIS as well.
Always communicate your plans to the IBB Academic Director.
